On June 17th - 19th 2025, the Impulse Neuro team attended Human Tech Week in San Francisco, CA.

During the 1980s as a child growing up on the East Coast, I watched addiction tear through my family. I saw marriages collapse, children separated from their parents, businesses were lost and lives were ruined. The havoc of addiction was not caused by choice, but instead is rooted in the human problem of craving.

Craving is the core of addiction. It hijacks the brain and it drives some of the worst human behaviors.

Fast forward many years later—

I finish grad school then moved to the West Coast and joined Neuralink. There, I meet others who saw the same vision as myself.

Together, we founded Impulse Neuro with a single mission:

To delete addiction.

We had a great time at Human Tech week and we had the opportunity to meet hundreds of people who were interested in our progress and shared our conviction.
